This Notice applies to Personal Data collected or processed by us online (through websites, applications, email, and other online services); when we handle medical information in connection with post-approval pharmacovigilance, adverse events, complaints, and reports; when we provide products or services to you, your doctor, hospital, medical treatment or scanning facility, or other healthcare provider (collectively referred to as “Healthcare Provider,” which includes both the institution and individuals working for or with such organizations), or your patients; and in other interactions with us, including visits to our sites and offices or our events (e.g., tradeshows and conferences). This Notice also covers Personal Data collected or processed when you interact with us in person, by telephone, or by mail.

  • Third-Party Data: If you provide us with Personal Data of someone other than yourself (e.g., a patient or family member), you are responsible for complying with all applicable privacy and data protection laws before providing that information to Seroclinix, including obtaining consent if required.

What is Personal Data?

  • Personal Data refers to any information, whether recorded electronically or otherwise, that can identify a person or be linked directly to an individual. This includes details such as name, address, email address, telephone number, or credit card number. In some jurisdictions, Personal Data can also include information that indirectly identifies a person, such as a unique number assigned to a patient by a Healthcare Provider or a clinical trial participant, even without other identifying information.
  • Personal Data may encompass information considered sensitive in some jurisdictions, such as biometric data, genetic information, medical and health records, financial account details, geolocation, ethnic or racial origin, information about your sex life or sexual orientation, and other similar data. For patients, as noted below, we may receive information about you from your Healthcare Provider or other sources when legally permitted.
  • We will process any Personal Data we collect in accordance with applicable laws and as described in this Notice (unless a separate policy or notice applies). In some cases, if you do not provide us with your Personal Data, certain Products and Services may not be available to you.

**In limited circumstances, recipients may include: (1) in the event of a sale, assignment, or transfer, the buyer, assignee, or transferee; and (2) government or regulatory officials, law enforcement, courts, public authorities, or others when permitted by this Notice or required by law.
